Meeting on the future of Binford Middle School

Richmond Public Schools is considering changing the use of Binford Middle School because of drastic underenrollment at the school. Although the school in the heart of the Fan has the capacity for more than 500 students, only 214 are enrolled for the 2013-2014 school year.

As most of the proposed uses would impact students system-wide, three “Community Engagement Sessions” have been scheduled across the city. The 2nd meeting will be held Wednesday, December 3, from 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM at MLK Middle School.
