“Church Hill, Church Hill North & Chimborazo Crime Update” from Sector 111’s Lt.Sayles:

Here are the most recent crimes for the above listed neighborhoods. Please ask that your neighbors continue to pay special attention to packages left unattended, lock up valuables and vehicles, and report suspicious activity.

Residential Burglary:
On December 1st between the hours of 10:00 am and 1:00 pm and unknown suspect or suspects cut the lock off of an unoccupied building in the 500 block of North 25th Street. A red Milwaulkee Sawzaw and a blue skill saw were taken from the structure.

Burglary Outbuilding:
Officers responded to an address in the 1400 block of North 29th Street for the report of a burglary to an outbuilding. The victim stated that between Oct 26th and Oct 28th an unknown suspect kicked in the door to the shed and took items. Missing was a red Troybuilt mower, green blower, 27 inch chain saw, and a circular saw.

All Other Larceny: ( Arrest Made )
On Nov 25th officers responded to 1500 North 28th Street for the report of a larceny at Community Hospital. Upon arrival it was determined by watching video surveillance that a female suspect had stolen a patients bag containing prescription glasses, medications, and the victims ID. The officer remembered seeing a person matching the description while driving to the larceny call. The officer broadcast the information about the suspect description and direction of travel and moments later the suspect was arrested and the victims property recovered.

Theft from Building:
On November 30th officers responded to an address in the 1200 block of North 31st Street for a larceny. After speaking with the victim it was determined that during the night and unknown suspect or suspects kicked in the door to a vacant property that was under renovation. The victim reported that a Titan Paint Sprayer was stolen from the building.
