Chromebooks available for teens at the East End Library
12/16/2014 8:41 AM by John M
Tired of waiting for a computer? Got loads of homework to do? The good folks at the East End Library have a solution!
The East End Library has a number of Chromebooks which can be borrowed by any Richmond Public Library cardholder, ages 12-18, for daily two hour use.
Chromebooks are lightweight laptops designed to be used primarily while connected to the Internet. You can log in with your Google account to access a world of apps or log in anonymously to access the web.
Borrowers must have a parent or guardian sign a User Loan Agreement before borrowing a Chromebook. Chromebooks loan made possible by a BP Fueling Communities grant to the City of Richmond Mayor’s Youth Academy.
