Parked outside of the Vernon J. Harris Medical & Dental Center on 25th Street on more days than not, Curbside Kitchen is exactly that what it says it is, with a grill and a fryer in that small silver box. The menu includes burgers (regular & bologna), hotdogs, bbq, fries, wings, and even a ribeye steak.

Not sure if this is the same guy that was there two-years-ago; if so, he’s the only hotdog vendor I’ve ever known to charge tax. A sign stating this would’ve been nice. The pricing is different from two-years-ago; however, which may mean this is not the same surprise-tax-or-unwrap-hotdog-and-throw-it-back-into-the-water-with-the-rest-of-the-hotdogs guy I had the misfortune of dealing with. I sure hope it isn’t. After ordering two hotdogs, and not having but two-bucks on me, imagine my surprise when the vendors states, “I can’t stand no fifteen-cents”, and unwraps your purchase and rudely throws it back in the water.
I can attest: “Amazing Food at Affordable Prices.”
This guy offers yummy fresh-cut fries!! (as in: NOT the frozen, out of a bag variety)
There used to be a hotdog guy who set up next to Lotsey and Hardy at the “T” of Govt and Wburg Road. IDK where he went but I wish he would come back! He had the best hotdogs EVAH. I don’t think this is the same vendor but hope springs eternal….maybe his are just as good 🙂
I used to stop by back in the day. 2009ish? Honest dude, clean decent food, and one of the few places up here that can a provide hot lunch around $5.
More power to the cart.
No matter how often it happens, I am always surprised when a customer of any business believes that the business owner should go to jail for tax fraud instead of that customer paying an extra 15 cents.
