Missing this dog?

I found this old dog sitting by himself at Chimborazo dog park. I saw him for 15 minutes and no human came to him. He is like a yellow lab, old, deformed legs and scared.
I thought about getting close to him but I am not sure if he has rabies shots.
I appreciate all of the concern that has been generated over Waverly, she is old and as such likes to take limited walks. She has been coming to the dog park for years and is comfortable waiting for me at the top of the hill. I walk my two younger dogs with my lacrosse stick. Yes I am that guy. I may get her a shirt that says-not lost-. Appreciate the concern she is safe at home tonight as every night. Cheers!
Glad to hear Waverly is ok. Perhaps a collar in the summer and shirt in winter saying she’s not lost!
Please leash your dog.

Waverly is very well taken care of and she is super sweet!
I’m glad she’s ok and with her owner. One real question though — how on earth do you walk dogs with a lacrosse stick?
Glad she is home safe.
Good to hear, but really there are many responsible owners of dog aggressive dogs that have a very hard time simply walking their dog in safety due to unleashed dogs. I have seen so many unleashed dogs around, which puts an undo burden on such owners and their dogs. And having a dog aggressive dog is not the owner’s “fault,” Richmond is full of wonderful rescued dogs that simply require controlled interactions with other dogs, which unleashed dogs do not allow. I say this to everyone – even if your dog is friendly, that doesn’t mean another dog being responsibly walked on leash is, and if an altercation occurs, the unleashed dog’s owner is at fault, not the other way around.
Last summer I had a filthy, starving, stressed-out cat show up in my yard. I fed her, we posted on here (which the owner saw), we got put in touch and he came and got her. Want to know why said cat was stranded outside, 6 blocks away from home? Because he and his girlfriend decided it would be fun to TAKE THE CAT TO THE PARK. And then were actually surprised when she ran away and got lost. For their stupidity, this poor cat cowered under a house and scavenged bugs for two weeks, not to mention she could have fallen prey to aggressive animals, rotten boys or cars.
Please don’t assume it’s safe out here. It’s not.
