Man shot on Nine Mile

Police responded around 8 p.m. Tuesday to reports of a shooting near the Mo’s convenience store (2900 block of Nine Mile).
When officers got there they found a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound about a block away. He was taken to VCU Medical Center and is expected to survive.
This is right near the field that used to have that little hut that they used to do drug runs from all day and night. That hut got torn down and now they deal just behind Mo’s. Wonder if there was any affiliation with this shooting?
