Suspect sought in Mosby Express burglary
03/23/2015 10:02 AM by John M
The Richmond Police Department is looking for Lamont Antone Ford for burglary of the Mosby Express at 715 Mosby Street early last Wednesday.
From the RPD:
On 3/18/2015 @ 0300 hours the Mosby Express was burglarized. The suspects entered through the roof of the business. The break-in was captured on video and shows two suspects coming through the ceiling to steal cigarettes and cigars. In the process, the burglars tore down the ceiling causing extensive damage. Thanks to quick action by patrol units and a fantastic follow up investigation by Det. Partain, two individuals were identified as the offenders. Please help us locate Lamont Antone Ford.
Good, quick work RPD.
Now I’ve heard it all!
These fellows risk their lives and freedom breaking into one of the absolute worst stocked convenience marts in all of ChurchHill to steal cheap cigarettes and cigars ( black and milds I guess)?
2 years for the burglary, 10 years suspended for stupidity. Unbelievable!
I can not wait til the owner of Mosby Mart closes that store and moves to Mechanicsville Turnpike at Convenience Store Heaven intersection (Mechanicsville and Fairfield Lane).
