Restore-PT adding new location on 18th Street
05/18/2015 8:00 AM by John M
Restore-PT is adding a location at 211A North 18th Street at the bottom of Broad Street:
Sadly, we have abandoned the idea of being able to build in Church Hill, but moved into a wonderful, newly renovated space just 5 blocks away. Still within walking distance of Church Hill! We are expanding and the building is much larger and has a classroom/studio area. We will begin seeing patients there June 1st. You can see the renovation at www.restore-pt.com/blog
Happily, Sukha Yoga will be coming with us! You can see Rachel’s class schedule at www.sukhayogarva.com
On the bright side: we have additional commercial space now available to work through a business useful to Hill life. Congrats to Restore PT!
Just to clarify, we are not leaving the area, we are growing and as a result we are renting a larger better suited space at 211A N 18th Street, just behind the Public Bath House on the edge of Church Hill.
We had gone through a laborious process of attempting to build a new mixed use building on the 400 block of N 23rd Street. The mounting cost of BUILDING in the city made the project unfeasible.
The space at 401 N 23rd Street is zoned commercial and is in process of being reno’d for a new business.
It is all good.
Thanks for the clarification! I rewrite the headline/intro to reflect this.
Yet again, the city not only gives little support but also makes it incredibly difficult for small businesses.
