Combined 1st Precinct MPACT/7th District Community Meeting set for May 27

There will a combined 1st Precinct MPACT/7th District Community Meeting on Wednesday, May 27th at 6PM at EDI (701 North 25th Street) in the 1st floor conference room.
From Hope Cousin, Precinct 1 – MPACT Coordinator:
This month, we invite you to attend a conversation with the Director of Community Wealth Building for the Department of Human Services, Thad Williamson as well as, the Deputy Chief of Police, John Buturla and UCI Community Engagement Director, Monica Callahan who will share updates regarding the UCI Bicycling Championships.
Environmental Officer, Harold Ford and CAPS 1st Precinct Supervisor, John Whealton will also be in attendance to address any concerns that you may have.
Too bad. Last time MPACT was absorbed by the 7th district ‘community’ meeting, MPACT community concerns weren’t mentioned at all.
