The goats are cute but unfortunately the dogs guarding them look terrible. Flies are biting at sores on their noses and their coats are matted with dirt and feces.
@10 that’s horrible about the dogs. The goats appear to have been moved to the Carillon by Goat Busters, where they have an electric fence guarding them.
I accidentally hit that fence while I was taking the photos, it has a good pop to it.
We need to bring these little guys over to Evergreen and East End Cemetery!
@14 OUCH! @15, great idea – contact Goat Busters, but for heavens sake tell them to clean up their dogs!
The goats were there as of 5 pm on Sunday. The dogs are Great Pyrenees and they are working dogs. While they should certainly be provided adequate care, they are not house pets, nor would they want to be.
Why can’t we as a community get our own goats to sponsor. Like buying a brick in a sidewalk except way better. Or old school neighborhood patrols. I would be happy to take a shift watching the goats or walking them to a new crop of weeds. We could clear land for Tricycle Gardens.
