Armstrong football kicks off August 29

New coach McDaniel Anderson (Armstrong ’69) takes over the team following a historic year and the departure of Coach Moody. Last season started off with a 5-0 run to begin play, saw Armstrong regionally ranked after 50-20 and 53-8 wins over John Marshall and Colonial Heights, and ended up being the Wildcats’ first winning record in over 15 years.
This season’s 10 game schedule includes 4 true home games, with the season-opening “home” game with George Wythe being played as the first half of a doubleheader at Huguenot High School.
