WOW! That sure improved the view.

Superb view, let’s keep it that way.
What an improvement!
$740,000 gift to property owner
#5. Gift to the property owner???? The city owns the property. It is going to provide access to the river with terraces down to the water.
Our cement heritage…lost to the ages. Why won’t this community respect our important historical assets?
Countdown to when Mayor Jones proposes it as a site for a ballpark or training camp starts…..NOW!
Wow, improvement! Great photos, too, thanks Tom Layman!
@7 – great idea! We’d need some better roads of course but it would be great for watching post-game fireworks and would fit well with the new brewery going in. Downsides: suburban families would be even more scared to go to Fulton than Shockoe Bottom, flooding concerns would be even bigger issue.
Wow, the view looks fabulous – every bit as good as the View across the sweep of the River Thames over here in London. It goes to show that often the most important thing in managing a view is to remove things. I am looking forward with much interest to see what replaces it.
