Busted window, stolen stroller, abandoned shoes
08/24/2015 6:36 AM by John M
I live at 26th and Cedar. Thought I’d send a heads up for the site if you want to post that this car window was smashed either last night or early this morning. It’s parked directly in front of my car, so I was lucky. No sign yet of the owner.

From Union Hill:
Our big blue double jogging stroller walked off last night (because we have foolishly kept it outside for eight months). Would y’all mind to keep an eye out for it?

From Fairmount Avenue:
Looks like someone snatched some newly-purchased DSW men’s running shoes from a neighbor, and tossed them in my recycling bin. If anyone reaches out to you about something like that, let them know I passed them in to the RPD.
TAGGED: crime
This could be expected from a city with millions of people. Just feel this place is too small for such a concentration of crime. Pathetic, disappointing as one would assume that authorities would be able to: organize, plan, prevent rather then react. We have not been here for long but it surely seems as a deceiving beauty 🙁
As a new resident, how familiar are you with the poverty in the neighborhood? There is nothing deceiving about the conditions around Creighton Court, Redd Street, Coalter Street, Phaup Street, T Street… it goes on and on.
I am your neighbor on the corner of 26th and we noticed it when we left to walk to Alamo for dinner last night around 8PM. We went down the street to see if there had been anymore, but didn’t notice anyone else’s car with damage. We will keep an eye out.
Who was the owner of the Blue jogging stroller? I have a guess…
