Eric Kolenich’s story yesterday on Armstrong football coach Mack Anderson on richmond.com has been picked up by USA Today:
As noted by the Times-Dispatch, the sharp dressing appears to be rubbing off on the players, with Armstrong racking up back-to-back wins to open the season, including a 20-point victory against crosstown rival Thomas Jefferson. According to Anderson, that’s entirely by design.
“I dress sharp because I want the kids to play sharp,” Anderson said. “I’m 64. In my time, that’s how coaches did it.”
