From Jennifer Parham, Interim President of Church Hill Central:

Please mark your calendars for Monday, January 4th 7-8PM for our next CHC quarterly meeting in the upstairs office of The Robinson.

In addition to an update from First Precinct, we expect to have 2 important presentations.

FIRST- Suzanne Mallory-Parker, Community Partnerships Manager with the Richmond Symphony, will talk with us about an upcoming Community Festival being planned at Chimborazo Park on May 6 – 8, 2016.

SECOND – Josh Son with the City’s Economic and Community Development department, will join us to engage in dialogue about development along the future route of the Pulse Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system. The City is working on a long-range plan along the future route of the BRT system, the Broad & E Main Street corridor. The plan will focus on future development and connectivity along the corridor and will seek to answer questions such as: Where along the BRT corridor should development occur? What should development look like? How should development happen?

Materials from the November BRT public meeting are now up on the City’s website at http://www.richmondgov.com/PlanningAndDevelopmentReview/BrtTodPlan.aspx.

On that page, there is also a link to a brief survey to which Josh would like us all to respond.
