Suspect wanted in copper theft from buildings

Since the first of the year we have had several thefts from buildings in the East End. Specifically, we have taken reports related to 23rd Street, 26th Street, 28th Street and Chimborazo Blvd. In these thefts, copper wiring was taken from houses being built or renovated.

This type of crime costs the victims thousands of dollars in damages and repair costs. The suspect has been seen riding a red Raleigh bicycle. He has been known to fill large bags with the copper wiring. The suspect has been described as:

B/M, 50 to 55 years of age
5’6’’ tall and 140 pounds
Suspect rides a red Raleigh bicycle
