From the New Vision Civic League:
Storefront for Community Design celebrated its 5-Year Anniversary Saturday, February 13th.
They sponsored their first Good Neighbor Awards which were named after three Richmond citizens:
- The Mary Thompson “Mrs. T” Community Engagement Award for innovating the neighbor-to-neighbor reach was presented to Chimere Miles (Fairfield Court resident for her leadership in Informed Neighbor Corps);
- The T. Tyler Potterfield Design Education Award denoting elevating the discussion of planning & design in the city was presented to architects Emma Fuller & Michael Overby;
- The Charles S. Peters Good Neighbor Award for demonstrating leadership in community design was presented to Michael Paul Williams, one of the writers for the Richmond Times Dispatch.
Mr. Williams is nothing more than a race hustler.
