Have you seen Megatron?
02/24/2016 9:34 AM by John M
From Amba at ambaswanson@yahoo.com:
My cat Megatron went missing last night, he is a black Manx (no tail) with a little white spot on his chest. He is friendly but probably scared and answers to Megatron or mega.
TAGGED: pets
We’ll be on the lookout for you! What area of the neighborhood was he last in?
Our house is on Venable next to Jessamine. Thanks everyone for keeping an eye out, I’m worried sick.
Yeah, what area? I was walking between Clay and Marshall on 35th last night and saw a black cat. I noticed that I did not see a tail, but it could have been curled up beneath him. I walk in the area regularly and he’s not one I’ve seen before.
With the storms right now, he’s probably taken shelter under a porch or something similar, maybe not far from home. Hope you get him home safely soon.
Megatron got out on the corner of Venable and Jessamine so he is probably still hiding somewhere in this area, I walked around all day calling for him but most lost cat resources say a cat that is scared will stay silent until it’s “threshold” is reached which may be related to thirst or hunger and then come out and try to get home. I really appreciate everyone keeping an eye out for him. I realize I only left my email, if anybody finds or sees him please call or text me at 434-284-0093.
I think he is nearby, keep looking. I lost one years ago, and he suffered thru a storm like this, took refuge in a garage with a door that was open about a foot at the bottom then he finally surfaced five days later. Good luck.
that is a good looking cat
Any word on Mega?
Megatron is still missing, but I am not giving up! He could be hiding under someone’s porch or in their backyard. There are a lots of places I haven’t been able to see from sidewalks and alleyways where I have been looking, so if anyone who reads this in the area would be so kind as to check those places on their property I would be forever grateful. Thank you for checking in Heather!
Don’t give up! My brother’s cat went missing for three weeks recently and then one day he just showed back up at home. I’ll keep an eye out when I’m running around the neighborhood.
Mega is safe in my bathroom (away from my dog). No tail and he’s got his collar on still! 804-246-9662.
