C.Alexander’s Cleaners celebrating 1st anniversary with wine and cheese all day
The folks at C.Alexander’s Cleaners at 2007 Venable Street are celebrating their 1st anniversary with wine and cheese all day today, Wednesday March 16.
The shop is owned by Marian and Norbert Field, who have owned the building for almost 20 years, and have lived upstairs for more than a decade. This is a next venture for the couple after careers in teaching and law enforcement.
C. Alexander’s Cleaners is dedicated to Marian’s father, Charles Alexander Harris, who she says “through his guidance and love he taught self-reliance and the ability to stand.”
C.Alexander’s offers a variety of services, including dry cleaning, wet cleaning, shirt laundering, wedding gown cleaning and preservation, suede and leather cleaning, rug cleaning, and alteration.
They are open Monday-Friday 7AM-6PM, and Saturday 7AM-2PM.

C. Alexander is the best! Everyone on the Hill should give them a try. It’s so nice not having to drive downtown for clean clothes. Marian and Norbert are an asset to the community. We have never had such good service. Here’s to many more years
How are they at getting tough stains out? What is the pricing like? Any other reviews?
