Danny Avula named director of the Richmond City Health District:
After serving as deputy director of the Richmond City Health District for seven years, Dr. Danny Avula has taken the reins. Avula officially took over as director Monday after Donald Stern’s retirement on April 1. Stern had been in the position since 2006, and Avula had served as the deputy director since 2009.
