Come out this weekend and clean up at Chimborazo Park and Jefferson Park
Jefferson Park and Chimborazo Park will both be hosting spring clean-ups this Saturday. Come out and help!
The Spring Beautification at Jefferson Park is being hosted by the Friends of Jefferson Park. Come out from 8:00 AM to noon:
Join us at the Jefferson Park bandstand for Spring beautification. We’ll have bags and pick-up sticks. Bring gloves and a rake/shovel if you’d like. Spring is here. Let’s get the park ready.
The Chimborazo Park Clean Up is being hosted by the Friends of Chimborazo Park. Come out from 8:00 AM to noon:
Join the Friends of Chimborazo Park for a park clean-up prior to the East End Music Festival. Meet at the Chimborazo Park gazebo. Grabbers and bags will be provided. Please bring gloves, water bottle, closed shoes, and bright clothing. If you would like to assist with weeding and trimming, please bring lawn and garden equipment. More information about Friends of Chimborazo Park will be available at the clean-up or message me about how you can get involved!
The Friends of Jefferson Park are working to get the park looking great for Spring and the April 22 Peace Fountain dedication. Lots of work to do! We are asking folks to join us Saturday morning to share in the work, but also to adopt a tree in the park to mulch. We have some mulch, but not enough for every tree– please consider donating some mulch and putting it around your favorite tree in the park.
