Mike sent in a photo of turkeys vultures at Jefferson Par, Jenny has a photo of a snake near Chimborazo:
Not turkeys 🙂

Turkey buzzards…not turkeys. And they were taking care of a possum that clearly wasn’t faking it.
DAMMIT MIKE
The 3 vultures lurking the possum was classic. Some cartoon type stuff.
Not turkey vultures. These guys are black vultures, which are smaller, have black heads, and more rounded wings. There’s a social group of them that hangs out at the landfill to the east. 🙂
what’s going on with the snake? I saw him a few weeks back I think and just stopped my car to allow his safe passage. Why are folks messing with him? Just a rodent-eating black snake, right?
Yeah, just a black snake. Hope they left it alone. We see it (or one similar) all the time in the dog park.
The folks are trying to get him off the road, I believe.
Mike would like to apologize to all the “Young Turks” out there. My bad.
HAHAHA @ turkeys…
We have seen a lot of snakes around 38th St. lately. Everyone seems to be talking about them.
