Examine the history of this venerable Richmond neighborhood, from the historic area surrounding St. John’s Church to the rapidly changing area north of Broad Street. Meet at Patrick Henry Park, East Broad and 24th streets.

And people wonder why many are for preservation. Just look at this picture. Most of Church Hill still maintains it’s 19th Century architecture. It is all about preserving the past to the current and into the future.
Any idea on location of photo? I just cannot place it.
Will have to look it up unless John M. can tell us since he posted the photo?
The house on the corner has the same ironwork and façade as houses on Libby Hill (N 29th).
Answer this about the tour… why do I always see them walking past our house quickly or barely hint about its history as they walk by, when it is the oldest house in Church Hill North and one of the oldest in Church Hill with a connection to the store on the corner, the oldest commercial building in Richmond?
