Early morning gunfire is alarming

Any word on the 15-20 gunshots that happened around 6:15am today? It was loud and clear, coming from what sounded like the backside of Ethel Bailey Park…maybe near O and 27/28th? I live near M and 29th and could hear them so clear. I called the police to check the area. About 10 minutes later I heard sirens, but I’m unsure if they were related.
