Mini-Tarot readings with Sandy Starr this Sunday
Gather Home & Garden is hosting Mini-Tarot readings with Sandy Starr this Sunday, September 25:
It was such a hit last time we did it, we decided to do it again!! Do you have a burning question you need answered, or do you just want to know if you are on the right track at this moment? Let Sandy assist you with her intuitive talents and tarot cards! She doesn’t tell your fortune, but she will let you know where you are, what hurdles you may have and give some timely advise on how to jump those hurdles to get to your desired outcome. It’s fun, it’s fast (about 15-20 minutes) and only $20 a reading!! So come and join us at Gather Home and Garden for what has been called by many, “An amazing experience”.
If you want to make an appointment, please call Sandy at 804-683-3138, message me on FB or email me, creativebreakthroughs@yahoo.
So much for adhering to the commenting and use policy of not making snarky comments or being a dick.
The most powerful sources of information come from within; the Tarot aids in coming in contact with one’s inner voice. Just because one does not follow a certain path, does not mean that our community is not big enough for all of us.
Blessed be.
I think Mr Sipowitz’s comment is spot on. This isn’t a “certain path” but charlatanism. Too many have been duped and scammed by card readers, palmists, mediums and the like. I hope the “reader” will have a sign noting that it is “for entertainment only.”
Believe what you want. This no more ludacris than paying 10% of what you make to a church where the preacher drives a $50,000 dollar car and flies in a jet. To each their own . Tarot cards aren’t any crazier than grown adults thinking angels are real.
Each person has their own belief system. Does it mean yours is the only one that is right and others are wrong? There is an estimate 4,200 different religions around the world.
K@4… well said.
Personally, I wish we could get people to let go of ALL magical thinking through the belief systems noted above. While I am no defender of religious belief as any less a system of magical thinking than tarot, at least some religious groups do not appear to be enrichment schemes for the leadership and do charitable good works in their community. Most of the fortune telling and psychic world sadly seems more akin to the lead character in the novel and film NIGHTMARE ALLEY. I just don’t think it’s helpful to be promoting hucksterism in any form as OK when there is so much history of criminal fraud cases arising the fortune telling world.
