From the RPD:
Arrests Made in North 29th Street Homicide
Richmond Police have arrested two males in connection to a homicide which occurred early this year in the city’s east end.
Keon C. Anderson, 18, of the 1100 block of St. Paul Street, and David D. Jones, 20, of the 2400 block of Richdale Road, have been charged with conspiracy to commit murder. Anderson has also been charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Recent mugshots are attached.
“This shooting took the life of an innocent woman. Through months of investigating, detectives were able to identify two of the individuals involved in this incident,” said Major Crimes Lt. Cynthia Hayes. “We are continuing to gather information and reaching out to anyone who may have witnessed or have information about what occurred that night.”
Anyone with additional information is asked to call Major Crimes Detective Edward Aeschlimann (804) 646-3351 or contact Crime Stoppers at 780-1000 or at www.7801000.com.

As I recall, Mr. Anderson was also responsible for (or accused of I should say) another shooting which involved the malicious wounding of a 16 year old.

Kind of wondering what the motive for the murder was. Robbery? Was the poor woman a neighbor or a distant family member who’s gotten off on the wrong foot with these young “men”? Sad, all around.
#2 Hopefully there will be no bail this time.
