Back to life and for sale on 23rd Street
11/17/2016 10:16 AM by John M
When I lived at 1206 N 23rd Street, the house beside me was a vacant shell and had been since at least the late 1990s. The building had been gutted, with work stopped halfway into cutting the space into two units.
Reflecting the new interest in the Fairmount area that’s come since the market picked back up & the new grocery store was announced, the house at 1202 N 23rd Street has been fixed up and is for sale for $279,000 (3 BR, 2 1/2BA, 2,000 SF).
There will be an open house at 1202 North 23rd Street this Saturday, November 19, 2016, from noon – 3:00 PM.

Oh, hell! Gentrification’s hit Fairmount now?
@mary yep. 20th Street right by Mosby has a whole batch of VCU students, & longtime homeowners are getting unsolicited offers on their homes.
I know you can spell facetious…and probably recognized it right away in my post.
Umm Mary, its a true statement. Any who, there is a 10 year tax abatement for anyone interested.
