Chimborazo teen killed in Northside

Victim Identified in Providence Park Homicide
Richmond Police detectives have identified the victim in a homicide that occurred yesterday in the Providence Park neighborhood as George M. Carrington III, 17, of Chimborazo Boulevard.
At approximately 5:39 p.m. yesterday, officers who were in the area for an unrelated incident heard a loud crash at the 600 block of Milton Street. Upon arrival, they observed an overturned white Buick sedan. The victim was found outside of the vehicle and had been shot. He was pronounced dead on the scene. At this time, detectives are investigating this incident as a homicide.
A medical examiner will determine the cause and manner of death. Police are still investigating.
Detectives are actively pursuing all available leads in the case and continue to gather information. They do not believe the incident to be a random act.

This is very sad. Can you change the title? 17 is not considered a man. I know the original breaking news said that, but now that we know his age, he is a teenaged boy.
Teen Wanted in Providence Park Homicide
Richmond Police detectives are asking for the public’s help to locate a teenager wanted in connection to a homicide that occurred on Friday in the Providence Park neighborhood.
Ishmael D. Brown, 17, of Richmond, is wanted on charges of murder. A recent photo is attached.
At approximately 5:39 p.m. Friday evening, officers who were in the area for an unrelated incident heard a loud crash at the 600 block of Milton Street. Upon arrival, they observed an overturned white Buick sedan. The victim, George M. Carrington III, 17, of Chimborazo Boulevard, was found outside of the vehicle and had been shot. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
Brown is described as a black male, 6’0”, weighing
approximately 150 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
He is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached. Anyone who sees him is asked to call police immediately.

Arrest Made in Providence Park Homicide
A Richmond teenager is facing charges of murder in connection with a homicide that occurred in November in the Providence Park neighborhood.
Ishmael D. Brown, 17, of Richmond, turned himself in to Richmond Police detectives on Friday, Dec. 30. He has been charged with murder. A booking photo is not available at this time. The photo from the Nov. 28 news release is attached.
