Blackbird Salon in Church Hill under new ownership, will be Luminary Hair Company

The former manager of Blackbird Salon, hair stylist and makeup artist Carly Childers Moenich, is taking over the 25th Street location as the new owner. The new salon will be named Luminary Hair Company, and the staff, address, phone number and pricing will remain the same.
The salon location on 25th Street near Marshall Street opened in January 2016 as a expansion of the Fan-based Blackbird Salon. Moenich has worked for Blackbird for over six years, and is ready to take on the challenge of small business ownership.
