Fire at the Garbers warehouse

There was a two-alarm fire yesterday afternoon at the under-renovation Garbers warehouse at 2201 East Franklin. No reports of injuries.
Richmond Magazine‘s Mark Robinson has some good photos on Twitter.
Fire-retardant insulation’s now scattered all up and down the sidewalks, to boot.
EDIT: Correction, the trash’s been picked up! 🙂 The street looks nice again.
Just read this. Crap. My cousins the Garbers had their business there since the 1970’s. Any knowledge of what’s happening to it since my cousins moved out/sold in 2016?
