Have you seen Nanners?

$500 REWARD!! MISSING! Nanners is an 8 year old long haired black and white cat. She accidentally pushed the screen out of the window and escaped around 11:45pm on Monday night (4/24/17) in the Church Hill area around 26th and O streets.
She’s up to date on all vaccinations, has declawed front paws, weighs approximately 6.5lbs, and is very sweet but will most likely be scared and skiddish. I’m very worried as she has never been outside before. If anyone sees her, or better yet, has any luck catching her, please contact me!
Please contact 585-704-3792.
TAGGED: [ets
Put her litterbox outside, she can follow the scent back home. Also, go out at dusk with stinky food and a flashlight and call her – she might answer you.
Also put a piece of your well worn clothes outside they will often come to it when they miss you.
Thank you for the advice! I put her litter box on the porch along with a bowl of water and her bed. I’m hoping that she’ll recognize it and come home.
Thank you!! And thank you to those of you who have shared this post as well! I truly appreciate the help. Nanners is still out there somewhere and I just want to get her home. Please keep sharing so that our neighbors are aware!!
Try fliers and asking your neighbors if they’ve seen anything. Also contact nearby vets and all the local shelters (RACC, SPCA) with her information. People are supposed to report if they find a lost animal though they are not required to turn them in if they have a safe place to foster them. I’m betting that Nanners hasn’t gone far!
Will do!
make sure to post this on churchhill.nextdoor.com
good luck, I hope you find her
I’m in agreement with @5, she probably has not gone far. I had a cat who did the same thing, screen went loose and down he fell, probably riding the screen like a magic carpet as there was a tall crape myrtle just outside the window that would have slowed his fall. He was only four months old, and neighbors kept seeing him in the alley but he wouldn’t let anyone touch him. Showed up crying his most pitiful a couple of days later. I suspect Nanners has a good sense of geography, like mine did, and is just spooked. Good luck and keep us posted.
She’s home! She just came home! Thank you everyone for the support!!
YAY!!!!
Great news!
We’re all so glad…
