Man shot overnight on Carmine Street

Man shot overnight on Carmine Street:
Officers say it happened just before 11 p.m. Friday, along Carmine Street in Whitcomb Court.
When they got to the scene, police say they found a 50-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound.
Is this why all the sirens and maybe a helicopter around 1130 last night?
I heard a little about a police vs car chase last night that ended at the end of Marshall Street.
Yeah, we were woken up by police lights and several Henrico county cruisers and 2 K-9 units at midnight. Crazy.
That makes more sense. I was also woken up to several police cars with sirens and lights going by on Marshall. Then I thought I heard a helicopter hovering a little later.
Ah, City life!
I was wondering what that was!
