Smile, You’re on North 29th Street!

From Bike Walk RVA this past weekend:

We had a great time meeting neighbors on N 29th St as we picked up trash, trimmed back overgrowth from sidewalks, swept debris and glass, and installed positive signage*. Earnest, a resident of 29th near O St who uses a walker, was thankful because he walks on 29th every single day. We heard from our community volunteers that with some intersection improvements and a connection through the grassy field, 29th St could be real component of an optimized network for biking and walking transportation that connects neighborhoods throughout the city to…well…everywhere else!
