Armstrong falls to Woodgrove 70-12 in season opener

The Armstrong Wildcats football team dropped their season opener 70-12 in an away game at the Woodgrove Wolverines (1-0). This is the 7th year of play for the Wolverines, who have gone 22-3 over the last 2 years.
Next up for the Wildcats is another road game, when they travel to Thomas Jefferson (0-1) for a 4PM kickoff on September 1. TJ lost their opener 45-14 to Goochland.
Darn it.
