Hit and Run in Chimbo

From Carver and the Church Hill Neighborhood Facebook page:

Happened around 3:20pm today on the 400 block of Chimborazo Blvd. A black svu crossover swerving down the street slammed into my parked car and sped off (still swerving like a maniac) down Chimborazo past Chimbo-Mart.

Have filed with the police and they are looking around the area. Be careful out there!! And if you have any information, or see a black svu crossover – like vehicle with damage on its right side, please contact me so I can report to police. Thank you!

Since the beginning of the year, there have been around 30 Hit and Run incidents in Church Hill alone. If you see something, say something. Remember, to report a crime or suspicious incident:

– Emergency? call 911 if the incident is in progress.
– Non-emergency? call (804) 646-5100 and press option 1.

As a reminder- and not to be preachy- but if you’re involved in an accident and it happens to us all, stay at the scene.
