The Richmond Police report an increased number of thefts from construction and rehabilitation sites across the area. This can take the form of theft from the location or breaking into houses undergoing construction or renovation. The thieves then sell the tools or supplies.

If you are offered suspicious tools or other construction/rehab supplies, you are asked to try and get a name and phone number or license plate and then contact Officer Lane at 646-0676 .
