Oakwood-Chimborazo listed on the State and National Registers of Historic Places

The Oakwood-Chimborazo neighborhood is now listed on the State and National Registers of Historic Places.
The listing became official on on March 18th, 2005; somehow we missed it until today.
The area is already experiencing a significant revival with renovations in progress throughout the neighborhood. The basic geographic boundaries of this district are: roughly N 30th-N 39th Streets, Chimborazo, Meldon, Oakwood, East Broad Street, Briel, East Clay Street, East Leigh Street, M Street, East Marshall street,N Street, O Street, and P Street.
