2311 M Street threatened with demolition

The Italianate frame house at 2311 M Street will be torn down in September unless a buyer interested in renovation is found.

On a quiet block on the south-eastern edge of Union Hill, within a block of Jumpin’ J’s Java, the Tricycle Garden, and the renovation happening at 25th and M Streets, this is one of the few untouched houses in that area. Renovation has happened all around it, having pushed up the surrounding blocks of 23rd and 24th Streets.
