Reader jc alerted us to the fact that today’s Times-Dispatch Legal Ads have a notice for Demolition of Structure for 1120 N 22nd Street, though no date has been provide. This isn’t online at the RTD — can someone with the print edition give a date?
This house has sat empty for a very long time. It is one of those unfortunate shingle-covered houses that has lost it porch and grown a weed-tree front yard… I walk by this house on the way home from work every day and have wondered if anything could be done with it.
It is my understanding that Better Housing Coalition owns that property, though I might be wrong.
The print edition doesn’t give a demolition date.
dang. I’ll just have to keep an eye out…
This house has since been sold to an individual that intends to restore it. He’s been working on cleaning up the lot.
