On the renovations at Richmond Hill

The RTD has a long article about the recent renovation at Richmond Hill, “the first major renovation since the mid-1920s”.

One of the most important parts of the renovation was the restoration of the Adams-Taylor house (formerly referred to as the Palmer-Taylor) that dates from 1811 and overlooks the city. It was developed by Richard Adams, Richmond’s largest landowner during the Revolution and one of its first mayors. Richmond Hill makes its home in a former monastery at 2209 E. Grace St. in Church Hill.
