The killing dogs are still around

02/11/2007 11:20 AM by

The same 2 dogs that were so devastating a few weeks ago struck again last night on the 400 block of North 31st and 32nd. Where is animal control? [via]

From the Church Hill Yahoo Group post:

This incident took place on the 400 block of North 31st and 32nd.
The cat ended up between two houses on 31st. […] He was
still alive when we took him in (Carytown Emergency Vet), but I am very certain, with the extent of his/her bite injuries and loss of blood, that he/she either
died right away or was euthanized.

[…]

I immediately called the Emergency Animal
Control and was told that they would try to get someone out. I
called back after finding the injured cat and was once again told
that they would try to get someone out, but they could not promise
that someone could get that cat.

[…]

That is disgraceful and unacceptable. If it had not been for the
neighbor calling 911 and the assistance of a very nice and caring and
helpful police officer, it would have been totally disregarded. That
police officer even tried calling animal control and got the same
answers that I got.
