It’s time to start looking forward to the Irish Festival! Sat&Sun Mar.24 & 25th @ 25th and Broad Streets, and featuring live bands, traditional Irish foods and beverages, children’s games and rides, Celtic vendors, local crafts, and more. Find out more at the Irish Festival site.
Excellent as usual. Beautiful day, good bands, much fun-old and young!
We drove 30 miles to attend, only to find out that this year no dogs were allowed. It really would have been nice to have posted this info somewhere on the site, since we have attended other festivals every year with our dog. Since this was an obvious major change – some advance notice would have been nice. Needless to say we drove the 30 miles back home very, very disappointed.
Joel, I don’t know the last time you attended but for at least the past 4-5 years they haven’t allowed dogs. The festival was literally off my back porch and I had to take my dogs somewhere else.
What a blast!!! My daughter had such fun, even when the moon bounce deflated with her inside. There was plenty of notice about “no pets”. Maybe for next year there will be a notice for women to hide their underwear a little better.
