Can anyone identify the location of this photo? I’m not even sure that this from up here, but the context makes me think that it is.
UPDATE: Once the location was identified, I had to go get a more current photo:
This is 3100 East Marshall St.
I *knew* someone would come through for me. Thanks.
I’ll take a current photo of it later today. It looks a lot nicer now.
John,
If you ever get a chance to get inside you should do so.
B and I toured the house as it was about to be finished and it’s a very well done renovation.

Hey TG4360, I think we checked out the one at the other corner of the school on Marshall… (which, yes, was nicely done).
OMG! That’s what that house used to look like before the renovation? It looks tremendously better now. They’ve even put in a little deck on the upper back with stairs going down.
That empty space between the yellow and darker blue house isn’t there anymore either.
yo d – where’s the new pic? 😉
I had friends that lived near here when I first moved into town. This house was legitimately described as a crack house as recently as 2002.
There were at least 6 photos posted there that I recognized as being Church Hill. There was one of houses on Marshall facing Chimborazo Elementary and another of houses facing Chimborazo Park on 32nd St.
Corner of 31st and E. Marshall – currently in process of being restored. There used to be a very old couple who lived there and whom have now passed away. This was several years ago.
Are you sure this is right? There’s a third house in the second picture that doesn’t look like a new architecture.
Yeah, it’s new & not quite even finished yet.
