I recognize one of those houses!
I remember you talking about this project a while back, have you been working on it these past few months now?
no, it just took the notion that it was a good time to do this.
This is such a good idea.
I submit: you have made an art, sir!
I recently finished my pics of Church and Union Hills. If anyone saw me pacing up and down each block each weekend since mid February, I hope I didn’t alarm you. I covered Franklin from 25th to about 30th, Grace from the end of the hill to 29th, Broad from 21st to 31st, Marshall from 21st to 31st, Clay and Leigh from Jefferson to 31st, M from 25th to 31st for Church Hill. I covered Union Hill from Jefferson Hill Park along Mosby to Venable and in between eastward to 27th between Q and M. I really wanted to to cover those areas before trees hid some of the houses. I do want to continue to Chimborozo, Shed Town/E Payne Square, Oakwood, and the Rutherford Tract, probably next winter. I do not like people in my pictures and warm weather brings them out and some particular people are paranoid with a camera out. I really want to avoid that. John, I need a walking partner or partners for these areas. I’m glad somebody else has the same idea tom cover the area. I have nearly all of Fulton done too with the exception of the extreme southeastern corner and Montrose Heights.
cadeho….are you planning to post them on flickr? It would be awesome to see them.
I typically use photobucket. I will eventually upload the pics.
Really interesting display… on many levels. I look forward to more.
Cadeho…
Did you take pictures of 400 block of N 27th yet? Just curious what angle you took of our house – the oldest in North Church Hill (built 1812).
