Saint Gertrude High School 28th Annual Harvest House Tour set for October

The Saint Gertrude High School 28th Annual Harvest House Tour will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2008 from 1-5PM. The tour will feature private homes and historic sites in the neighborhood. Tickets will be available after October 1 at Leo Burke Furniture, Judy Newcomb Gallery, Church Hill Herbs and Florist and Saint Gertrude High School; order tickets online. [via]

Private Residences on Tour to date:

• 2215 E. Broad Street (Mr. and Mrs. S. Waite Rawls, III). This will be the “will call” house for online ticket purchasers.
• 2603 E. Grace Street (Ms. Martha Gunther);
• 2507 E. Grace Street (Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ray Hunter, Sr.);
• 2910 Libby Terrace (Mr. David E. Cooley and Ms. Jessica Jordan);
• 2407 E. Grace Street (Elmira Shelton House – Mr. and Mrs. Samuel T. Terry, Jr.);
• 2520 E. Franklin Street (Turner-Reed Moore House – Ms. Betty Joyce Moore)

Historic Sites on Tour to date:

• 23rd and E. Grace Street – The Twenty-Three Hundred Club;
• 213 N. 25th Street – Saint Patrick Church. Refreshments will be served in the Church Hall.
