ACORN is not ACORN
10/28/2008 3:44 PM by John M
This keeps coming up, so lets see if this helps: the Alliance to Conserve Old Richmond Neighborhoods (ACORN) is not the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN). Nor are they Acorn, Acorn, ACORN, Acorn, or ACORN.
TAGGED: ACORN
“flyingmeat.com”? I’m afraid to even look…
“Nor are they Acorn, Acorn, ACORN, Acorn, or ACORN.”
Hahahhahaha! That was funny.
I like to eat acorns…
A.C.O.R.N.– which began its work to stop the demolition of houses in Church Hill back in 1997– was incorporated in 1998 and received 501(c)3 non-profit designation shortly thereafter– made protecting and improving the oldest neighborhoods in the city of Richmond its mission. We’ve saved more than 100 houses and taught thousands of people about renovating old properties.
We promise that we will never register Mickey Mouse (or anybody else) to vote.
one only need look at barton heights and the scab over temporary sub standard construction in barton heights to see the diference between the ligitimate national acorn and the richmond one .the are the practices that acorn of california have stopped the substandard projects cant happen if the public calls codes during the constuction prosess and holds the cost overrun builder and holding co.s to the same standard as they do the general public this leaves propertys behind that last ,not sets vacant till the next soon to be disolved llc comes along and rehabs it all over again usually the roots of these lead back to someone in the banking industry alighned with someone in goverment like a leonitus young
ACORN acorn Acorn aCorN it seems a little Nuts to me. (pun intended)
