A rash of moped and bike thefts

Keep your eyes peeled:
There was a rash of moped and bike thefts last night April 19, 2009. Three mopeds were stolen from 710 N 23rd St between 7:30 and 10:30 pm. Two of these mopeds were found in the alley way and retrieved. Still missing are a garelli top tank and a large BMX bike. One moped was stolen from Alomo Bar-B-que at 22nd and Jefferson. This one is also still missing. The police have bee contacted, but if the neighborhood has any information please contact Rob Patterson at (804)212-6168.
A blue mountain bike covered in stickers was stolen from the same address @ 3:30 pm. The thief was chased on bicycle, but was too fast. He was a black male with short hair btw 17-20.
I’ll keep my peepers peepin’. Yea dudes, lock it and lock it well. Tis the season for two wheel theft.
