A day for big yard sales…
05/11/2009 6:49 AM by John M
There will be a huge yard sale benefiting Robinson Theater Community Arts Center’s programs this Saturday, May 16, from 8AM-noon inside the theater at 2903 Q Street. In addition, Craig’s List has the skinny on a “huge community yard/bbq/plant sale” set for the same day in Chimborazo Park.
The big Libby Hill yard sale will be on June 13.
Yard sale, BBQ and plants??? I love this neighborhood! 😛
Just don’t BBQ the plants in the yard you buy
John, how can I find out more about the Church Hill Games on Sat, May 16, 9:30am – 1:30pm? They asked for volunteers, but no contact information.
“The Blue Sky Fund is sponsoring the fourth annual Church Hill Games at Bill Robinson Park in Church Hill. Over 150 kids K – 8th grade will be participating. Volunteers are needed to help set up, serve lunch, and monitor the youth.â€
For info about the Church Hill Games, contact Lawson Wijesooriya at (804)938-9961.
I believe Lawson Wijesooriya is organizing that event. Do you have her contact info? I’ll send it to you.
