Richmond Day at the Farmer’s Market

Sun May 24 1:00 pm
Richmond Day, a celebration of the Richmond region’s birthday, will be held this Sunday, May 24, from 1PM-6PM at the 17th Street Farmer’s Market. Entertainment to include music, magic, food, drink, hula hooping, and more. A special ceremony will be held at Libby Hill Park at 2PM honoring Richmond upon Thames and the view that named Richmond. In addition, free shuttle busses will loop between Libby Hill, the river, and the Farmer’s Market from 1Pm-5PM.

This family-friendly festival will feature special guests from Richmond’s past, including Christopher Newport, William Byrd II, Patrick Henry, Elizabeth Poe, and Maggie L. Walker.
