Siamese missing from 28th Street
06/02/2009 6:49 AM by John M
Craig’s List has the word on a missing cat:
Seal-point (dark brown) male Siamese cat lost on Friday from N. 28th street. Indoor cat, declawed in the front. His name is Arthur. Please call (804)502-6297 if you have seen him.
Which block of 28th? Will keep a watch out for the kitty that sounds cute 🙂 The poor thing is declawed and might not be able to defend himself against the raccoons and mean cats in the alley.
A few tips: 1. make sure you put in a “missing” report with City Animal Control. Do same (create a flyer w/ Arthur’s photo) for C.H. Animal Hospital, Broad St. Vet Clinic, Cary St. Vet, Fan Vet. Visit Animal Control to check for your cat – calling is not enough. Put up signs w/ photo & offer a reward. Go out at night and call to him – do this in a 2-3 block radius of your home. Put flyers in neighbor’s mailboxes asking them to check sheds and outbuildings in case he’s hiding somewhere. Put food & water on your porch(es). Also, some item(s) that carry your scent (kitty’s favorite blanket, toys, sweater, etc.) Good luck, hope Arthur’s home soon.
Yes, which block was he lost?
One of our neighbors on the 400 block of N 27th has a male Chocolate Seal Burmese that is indoor/outdoor cat which looks a lot like a seal point siamese so people don’t get them mixed up if you see it.
